Trump Entertainment Inc and the Avenue Capital Group has been busy at work filing documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission for their joint venture into the online gambling industry.
According to statement made by Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump’s daughter and the executive vice president of Trump Entertainment which filed for bankruptcy in 2009, her father will lend his name to the joint venture while the investment part of the deal will be carried out by Avenue Capital Management. She also added that the new venture of the two companies will be positioning itself to be the biggest online gambling business in the country once online casino gambling is made legal.
Forbes magazine reported that Jim Ryan, the joint chief executive of bwin.party Digital Entertainment is also sizing up the US online casinos gambling market. The company bwin.party is the largest listed online gambling operator of the world, following the merger of Bwin and Party Gaming. Bally Technologies has also come up with new divisions to cover the available gambling markets of USA like mobile gambling, online gambling and social network gambling.
