Many polls have been conducted with an objective to track whether the Ohio voters are ready to vote favoring casino gambling in the ballot scheduled in the upcoming month.

Let us have a look at the recently released Poll. Eight newspapers of Ohio have made an attempt to track the voters’ opinion on US online casino gambling measure which is set to hit the ballot in November. This opinion poll is conducted to understand the response pattern for casino gambling.

The results of the poll indicate that nearly 60% of the voters would favor the casino gambling in the upcoming ballot. There had been several trials to initiate casino gambling in Ohio in the past. Most of them were failures since the voters turned off the proposals.

But this time it is observed that the voters have changed their mind. This is of course a drastic change since there is close to 60% votes approving casino gambling.

The Institute for Policy Research has released the poll results recently. The result was released in University of Cincinnati. There were totally 713 registered electors who participated in this poll. The error margin is 3.7%. Only 38% among the respondents have voted against the gambling proposal.

Ohio is one among the states which were highly affected by the economic recession. This casino gambling proposal is considered as one way to improve the state’s economy. This proposal is expected to revive the economic condition in Columbus, Toledo, Cleveland, and Cincinnati. So there is lot of hopes centered on the outcome of this proposal. The poll result released recently assures that the voters would favor the casino gambling and there would be money flow in the state in the times to come.
