MasterCard is being overly vigilant and is effectively preventing US players from using their cards to fund their casino accounts at online casinos and at Internet gambling sites. In fact they have been quite successful in banning US customers from using their MasterCards at gambling sites, online casinos and even poker websites. Though concerted efforts were made earlier to prevent such transactions, the efforts proved futile.
